They could use "yet", but not for "endlich" and not in that kind of construction. What happens is: "Stop it already!" - and that would be an "endlich" construction. "Stop it yet!" doesn't make any sense, they don't want to use "finally" - for some reason, it would be as ungrammatical as "already", but wouldn't drive me nuts - and they do not have any other temporal expression which would fit.
