I've known Lindsay Ellis' videos for a time now and even though some are interesting, many are (and I have women agreeing with me on that point) mostly filled with self-important prattle, even when, as most of them are, detached from gender issues.
Although I don't really feel like I need any internet video commentator (and I know from experience most male ones have much more annoying gimmicks than her) run the animation business through the Frankfurt School for me, thank you, I give her props for summing it all up with some video material to line the theories.
