Ah, good, I was thinking - what with all the stuff going on, might have been sad. It IS pretty, though. <3

I'd definitely do that if I were you - even if he does say no, it can't hurt to ask! Oh, also, you might think about coming along to the Lübeck excursion on 21.3 - you could bring Hannah, I'm sure nobody would mind, and he's got grandchildren her age.

Prof H. is a difficult case. He is usually very forbidding and stern in the beginning, but becomes positively charming once he's seen that you're not an idiot. I used to be scared of him, but after I handed in my first paper, he became positively charming - stopping in the hallways to ask how I was, greeting me whenever he saw me, stopping to chat, the works. It was quite the transformation.
