Stuffed mushrooms

I never realised how easy it is to do tasty things with white mushrooms

All you need are mushrooms. You de-stem them, lightly roast the chopped stems, add whatever else you want to be stuffing it with, add salt and pepper, stuff the mushrooms, cover with cheese and bread crumbs, if you feel like it, and grill them at 250°C for ten minutes. Takes all of fifteen minutes, and the result is really tasty.

Today, we made stuffed spinach bacon mushrooms with cheese, and as soon as I can get hold of similarly big mushrooms again I'll be making a vegetarian, all-spinach variety. Nom.

I know they don't look all that appetizing, but they are. <3

Stuffed mushrooms saved me at numerous barbecues last summer, because they're a great vegetarian alternative. We usually just stuffed them with cream cheese, but I do have to try them with spinach!

Damn, now I want some!

I love cooking with mushrooms! But I've never tried that; it looks good.

Stuffed mushrooms are some of my favorite things ever. I'm drooling over those pictures.
