Bike trips through our neighbourhood. There are a few car and paint shops around the corner as well as a large industrial harbour.

The largest of the pain shops burnt down spectacularly one morning and the entire street had to be roped off for the rest of the day. It still looks really grim and I really feel for the owners and hope their insurance covers a fresh start.

Sun setting over the new luxury homes. I'd be questioning the wisdom of putting a basement garage right next to a river, but the architects probably had their reasons.

Boat with a crane removing the underwater support structure they used to build the new bridge over our river.

Support structures.

Most of these areas you can't just stroll into, sadly.

As close to the harbour as we could get.

I'm easily impressed, but the sheer size of these ships always leaves me absolutely baffled.

As does the size of this chimney on this local power station.

Look at those 2m doors looking so tiny!

Not a very pleasant smell even though it was only scrap metal in this yard.
