Floral rejoicing

I'll take any excuse to show you these, and I guess the (in)famous "V-Day" is a good opportunity for that.

So, here goes. These are Crocky's, really. I took them for her birthday because she likes violet.

For Rebecca 1

For Rebecca 2

Slightly lighter plant

more croci

For Rebecca, again

Cheesy name, I know

One in front

One in front again, better than the first

I hope you don't mind flowers, especially on this day. Everywhere's full of them!
Somehow, I've never understood Valentine's Day. It's an insult to all singles and a just a confirmation of what happy couples already know, that love is something which ought to be celebrated - which holds true for every day, not just the 14th of February.
Ah, well, I probably just don't understand the tradition enough to value it properly. So, happy Valentine's Day to all who are celebrating it! :) And a big "Hang on in there, it'll be all over by tomorrow!" for all those who are not.

EDIT: Oh dear, these are huge. I hope they're not too big. If they are, just let me know and I put them all behind the cut.

Oh, they're SO beautiful :) The first picture is the best. They look so fragile, the colour is wonderful, and the water... *happy sigh* Thanks for showing!

Glad you liked them. :) The first one's my favourite, too.

Lucky Crocky. :) I've always thought of purple has as the herald color of spring.

Wow, that's a beautiful expression - "the herald colour of spring"... and you're right, it is!
It's so pretty, all those lovely flowers are opening around here, now.

Those are quite beautiful. Ms. Moth... ever-so-talented. :o) Happy Valentine's Day, you two.

Thanks! But my talent is only due to the marvel that is my camera. *hearts* You only need to find what you want on the picture and press the button. :) Happy V-Day to you, too!

A happy Valentine's Day to you & Crocky. :)

Can't believe I almost forgot about it. Sorry. :( *hugs*

Never mind, I would have, honestly - if it wasn't the very day after Rebecca's birthday and if it was possible to walk down one road round here without seeing pink and red hearts, makes it kinda impossible. You should see what all the florists we have in Dumbarton Road have done...
Happy Valentine's Day to you!

Yes, beautiful pics - especially the first one! :o)

Thanks! That's the one I chose as a surprise-wallpaper for Crocky's computer. Not the most romantic thing ever, but I was quite pleased with myself for coming up with it in the first place. :)
