Why NOW?!

Terry Pratchett, the master, my favourite author, the first person I felt fannish feelings for, the hero of my child-, teenager-, and adulthood, the - I think you get the message - is going on a book tour to -ing Scotland and coming to -ing Glasgow on the -ing 30^th of September for a -ing signing session in the -ing Buchanan Galleries and I can't -ing be there because it's too -ing expensive to go and all around too much of a hassle because of -ing Ryanair, because they've -ing canceled the direct flight from Hamburg to Glasgow, and that would mean that I have to fly to -ing Stansted, travel from -ing Stansted to -ing London, from -ing London to -ing Glasgow, stay there for some time, and travel back, take the bus home from -ing Lübeck, which would be too expensive.

Bugger.

I don't think I've ever seen somone use -ing so much, except for bad TV.

For reasons not entirely clear to me this book is one of my favourite books - ever.

I agree, that book is made of awesome. My favourite Pratchett book of all time, though, is still Small Gods.

*manic nod* Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees!!! Although there are a couple of others I really, really love, Jingo and Wee Free Men, for example. There are just too many, you end up loving all of them.

But that thing is unrivaled. Hey, but then, nearly everything from that decade is just -ing awesome.

We do! He keeps saying so himself. But he does not because because because... I don't know, actually. I think he's been here iiin... was it 2001? I don't know. I only heard of that about a month late, hence the extra frustration. :)
