Hee.

1. Snape. When I first read the series, I was genuinely bored and very sceptical when I read it, until Snape made his first appearance. After that, I said to myself, "OK, this series is crap, and you are only buying the second book if this Snape character is NOT the villain." When I had finished the next day, I bought book two.

2. I guess I never expected to love Pomona Sprout as much as I do now.

3. Draco Malfoy. I don't get it, he is just so... flat. I blame Tom Felton. Or the power of inferring.

4. Gregory Goyle.

5. Remus Lupin, it was an initial liking that wore off fairly quickly.

6. Again, Severus Snape.

7. Minerva McGonagall. She doesn't have a lot of methods up her sleeve, but she's one of those teachers which just work. She's got an aura of authority. I've got an aura of niceness. Which is good, but I wish I'd be more impressive sometimes.

8. Oh, there are too many. Probably Lupin, most of all.

9. Minerva McGonagall/Severus Snape.

10. Hm. There are a lot of unrealistic slash pairings that I'm not too fond of, but curiously, the Harry/Sirius fics tends to be the worst, so I'll stick with that.

3. I like fandom!Draco, and thought there was a lot of potential for canon!Draco in book six. Alas, nothing came of it.

5. Dumbledore for me. The last few books made me want to slap him upside the head.

10. Ew, that's a double-hit of my squicks. The age difference and the familial relationship.

(Still love this Snape icon.)

I like that icon, too.

3. Oh, I like some fandom!Dracos, too. In fact, most of them are far more interesting than book!Draco.

5. It was a bit of a tie between him and Lupin for No.8.:D

10. And most of the fics are really badly written, too.

1. The first character I first fell in love with: Death. Granny Weatherwax. Both.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Moist von Lipwig. I really disliked him at first, but he's grown on me.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Rincewind. I hate him.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: Does anyone hate Terry Pratchett characters?
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Hmm. No, I still love them all.
6. The character I would shag anytime: Vetinari (who, just for the record, is MINE.), and Susan.
7. The character I'd want to be like: Good question. Granny Weatherwax, maybe? And Johnny. And Tiffany.
8. The character I'd slap: Rincewind.
9. A pairing that I love: Angua and Carrot. I don't like Carrot much, but those two are just cute. And I loved Agnes and Vlad. A match made in heaven. Oh, and Susan and Lobsang, I'm really curious how they turn out. Ohh, and Magrat and Verence.
10. A pairing that I despise: There are people that insist on slashing Vimes and Vetinari. They need to meet someone who likes cats a lot. So do the ones who ship Susan/Mr Teatime just because they've seen the movie. Which they apparently didn't really get.

OMG YOU ARE REALLY READING MY JOURNAL. As for readong more Terry Pratchett books - generally recommendable. I don't think you can read too many of those.

Dr House - I'm afraid that with my little knowledge of Dr House my answers will be rather boring. I'll give it a go.

1. The first character I first fell in love with: Dr House. Boring as that.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Dr House, again. When I first saw the series, I disliked him immensely, and then came to appreciate how funny he was and realised that the things I disliked about him were probably the point of the entire series.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: I have to admit that I don't know enough about House fandom to know which character is generally dislikeable.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: See above.
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: I used to like the guy that House takes along on his various exploits, the one with the dark eyes.
6. The character I would shag anytime: Dr House.
7. The character I'd want to be like: No idea. Not House.
8. The character I'd slap: House, most of the time.
9. A pairing that I love: No idea, sadly.
10. A pairing that I despise: no idea.
