Apparently, people of my race like this (anyone else think that this blog is often really self-congratulatory rather than satiric? I'd have hoped for more satire), so I thought I'd give it a try. It turned out very tasty, and now I'm wondering what other kinds of spreads and dips there are that could be tasty - I'm thinking about giving mushroom dip a price.

Anyone want to share a recipe? I'd be grateful.

Hmm, yeah, I'm not sure tzatziki would taste good without the garlic. I'm trying to think of other dips....

Oh, interesting. I'd be curious about "stuff white people like" written by someone who isn't white, too, I'd imagine they'd be less prone to be self-congratulatory, for one, but there'd probably be even more people who'd take offence and think it's reverse racism or some nonsense.

Tzatziki without garlic doesn't work, really. I tried to substitute the garlic with fresh peppermint once. It did turn out refreshing, but definitely not tzatziki. For today, I'm trying to do something with mushrooms and silken tofu.
