Day 6 - Segontium, Caernarfon

Segontium Roman Fort in Caernarfon.

The Celts were there, too. We talked to one of them for an hour, very nice lady.

Entrance to Caernarfon Castle.

Well, I only got started. We've got a combined account now as RRASR, but there isn't much on there yet, I think only two or three caches.

My original plan was to find at least one cache in each country, but I didn't even manage that. But then, my mobiel phone is not exactly the most accurate of devices and I've been traipsing through a 10m radius of bracken several times.

Let me think, I remember something... we first started with the WW's car Navi, and we had the problem that we always seemed to be rather off. Then we found something in one of the forums or other that the way of displaying/showing the coordinates had something to do with it, becasue there were different kinds of doing it. We both don't remember what it was, unfortunately, or how it was called, but afterwards it was much easier. Still, the GPS device I then got was much easier to use, because the display is also much more easier to read.
Can you ask somebody, perhaps at a local GC "Stammtisch", for help?

Among my favourite caches are Earth Caches, because they brought us already to so many special places.
