So, now that we have voice of god confirmation that Hermione/Ron was not a good idea, whom do you think should Hermione have ended up with/married instead?

Someone whom she'll meet later in life when she's seen a bit of the world. And by "marry" I mean "love and live with" -- I don't care if she concludes a contract.

I fear I've just mucked up your poll, but my opinion seems to be "go forth and experiment, Hermione, live and love with anyone you damn well please and settle down wherever and with whomever you'd like--however many of them there are".

But I suppose that's my opinion for most things.

I've actually always liked Harry and Ginny winding up together, but Hermione and Ron never worked as well for me. Harry/Hermione isn't a bad match at all, but Harry/Ginny is a better one, IMO. Hermione, I think, would want to settle down with someone eventually... Viktor Krum, maybe? I always liked Viktor.
