Stolen from my flist.

1. What’s your favorite candle scent? I don't really go in for scented candles, but probably lavender?
2. What female celebrity do you wish was your sister? I'm with Kelly on the views of family fortunes.
3. What male celebrity do you wish was your brother?See above.
4. How old do you think you’ll be when you get married? I was 26 when I got married to Crocky. I didn't want to marry any younger because it seemed foolish to us to marry too young, but we'd been together for five years when we married anyway.
5. Do you know a hoarder The tendency definitely does run in the family.
6. Can you do a split? I come close.
7. How old were you when you learned how to ride a bike? I was six. I wasn't very good at it and kept my training wheels for half a year, though.
8. How many oceans have you swam in? Only two, the North Sea and the Baltic Sea.
9. How many countries have you been to? Not that many, only 12, I think.
10. Is anyone in your family in the army? As I don't like the military I'm rather glad that none of my family members are in the army.
11. What would you name your daughter if you had one? I'm still rather fond of the name Esmeralda, but for some reason, Crocky won't budge. Minerva, Terentia or Rhianna were other suggestions, but she didn't seem to see the light. So far, the only name we really see eye to eye on is Caelia (minus the suicide, fixation on mortal lovers and virtues).
12. What would you name your son if you had one? I like the name Richard, Crocky hates it. She wants to name our poor son Lucas.
13. What’s the worst grade you got on a test? The German marking system goes from 1 (best) to 6 (absolute worst), and I've had all of those marks in my day. Now that I'm giving marks myself I'm grateful for the experience.
14. What was your favorite TV show when you were a child? Star Trek: OST. Watched it whenever it was on, made up fanfic in my head about it, wanted to run off and joi Starfleet
15. What did you dress up as on Halloween when you were eight? We don't have Hallowe'en over here, but we do hav Fasching. I think I went as a princess in third grade, but I'm not sure. Our class queen had royally decreed that everybody be a princess that year and we obliged with one exception who went as a queen, rebel that she was. Before I fell under the spell of our class queen my costumes were always a bit odd (female coal tit, house mouse).
16. Have you read any of the Harry Potter, Hunger Games or Twilight series? I did not enjoy all books of those series, but I know all of them.
17. Would you rather have an American accent or a British accent? I've got a mongrel mixture of both, but I think I lean towards the British.
18. Did your mother go to college? Yes, and she earned a PhD in Biology.
19. Are your grandparents still married? Both were married until their death, but I doubt that either marriage was that happy, truth be told. Both couples got married during the second world war, my maternal grandparents while my grandfather was on leave around Christmas (the day after my grandmother had her wisdom teeth taken out), the others shortly before the war started. My maternal grandparents were separated while my grandfather was a POW for years after the war, too.
20. Have you ever taken karate lesson? No, but Judo lessons. I made it to the white belt and I still can't tie it properly. So I'm not really a martial artisan.
21. Do you know who Kermit the frog is? Yes, though I never found him or his stuffed brethren all that amusing past the age of five.
22. What’s the first amusement park you’ve been to? The Heidepark. I did not enjoy the experience because I get heightsick and dislike rollercoasters.
23. What language, besides your native language, would you like to be fluent in? I wish I could speak more Germanic languages.
24. Do you spell the color as grey or gray? Grey. Although, do I? I think it varies.
25. Is your father bald? No, but both my brother and I carry the genes fo Geheimratsecke (receding hairline resulting in a triangular pattern around the temples) from my grandfather's side.
26. Do you know triplets? Not human ones, though I do know some very nice cat triplets.
27. Do you prefer Titanic or The Notebook? I like Notebooks, though I'm suspecting from this question that this is some sort of love story. Uh. Neither.
28. Have you ever had Indian food? Yes.
29. What’s the name of your favorite restaurant? I don't have one, really.
30. Have you ever been to Olive Garden? No.
31. Do you belong to any warehouse stores (Costco, BJ’s, etc.)? You can't find me on the shelf of either, my username brethren might be a different story, though.
32. What would your parents have named you if you were the opposite gender? My real name is the female version of the male name my parents were going to give me.
33. If you have a nickname, what is it? Both, and an abbreviated version of my real name.
34. Who’s your favorite person in the world? Cocky, as long as she at some point caves on naming our daughter Esmeralda. I also like Carlotta.
35. Would you rather live in a rural area or in the suburbs? I'm a suburbian through and through.
36. Can you whistle? Not well.
37. Do you sleep with a nightlight? No. I could never sleep with one.
38. Do you eat breakfast every morning? On most days I do.
39. Do you take any pills or medication daily? No.
40. What medical conditions do you have? Apart from being overweight I don't have any.
41. How many times have you been to the hospital? I've been on visits to several people who did not make it out alive and several who did, but thankfully, I never had to go myself.
42. Have you ever seen Finding Nemo? Yes.
43. Where do you buy your jeans? I think the last pair I bought at M&S.
44. What’s the last compliment you got? "Nice throw!" - my colleagues went street bowling on Friday on a "cabbage walk". A tradition that mostly involves ambling along a street, progressively becoming more drunk, while heading for a restaurant for a traditional meal of kale and sausages.
45. Do you usually remember your dreams in the morning? If I have any, I do. Last night it was
46. What flavor tea do you enjoy? Unscented black teas, but I'm not a choosy teadrinker.
47. How many pairs of shoes do you currently own? I have no idea, but I suspect it's not that many.
48. What religion will you raise your children to practice Laid-back relativist Northern-German Lutheranism.
49. How old were you when you found out that Santa wasn’t real? I never believed in Santa, for me it was the Christkind, but I think I was seven when I did find out.
50. Why do you have a tumblr? For the gifsets
