Gah! In only two weeks Crockster and I will be in Scotland!! Wheee! (Time to show off: these are pictures of a part of my university! A person called Peter Wild has interestingly made the same pictures I made)
Maybe that means that I ought to start packing... I have not made any plans as to what I take yet. How organised I am!
"Clothes" is all I have on my list, preceded by the crossed-out word "books".
Special thoughts, hugs and good wishes to jaywalker23. You need it, hun. :(

Date: Monday, August 22nd, 2005 02:14 am (UTC)This stuff has been on my brain as of late as we made the long drive up to Bodega Bay yesterday to collect some of my boxes of belongings that had been stored up at the house there. While I inspected the books-boxes and moved them to a different part of the house (and flipped through Return of the King a bit, just for old times sake....), I left them behind (only for a little while longer, my precious bookses!) and they'll likely remain there until I get my own place. Right now I'm sorting through the rest of my crap, throwing some things away... keeping others... some tough choices, must say. In the end, though, I hope to achieve that magical state of enlightenment called "organized." :o]
Even though you're going to be in Scotland for a year, you might want to pack lightly or at least with space left over in your bags. No doubt you are going to acquire many things while you're there anyway.
So... there ya go. A little unsolicited advice to see you on your way. I'm quite excited for you, Ms. Moth, and Crocky... although, as she seldom posts to lj, I'll have to channel my excitement for her through you.
Sit still for a moment, please....
*channeling*
Alright... all done. :o)p
