Just had a look at what I have planned for this semester, and according to my preliminary time table,  I'll have to write seven or eight term papers this Semester, each between fifteen and twenty pages long. Oh, yeah ,and I'd have three exams.

The success of this enterprise is not guaranteed.

Hm. The second one doesn't fit. I (hope I'll) have the Greiner Literature II then (Marlowe's "Jew of Malta" and Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice"), so I'll take the first. Also, because it intereste me more. After taking Freytag's 1a, plus the 1b twice, both of which were a lot about "Der Arme Heinrich", which IS a religious work (and for which I STILL hjave to write the paper *sigh*) I have grown rather fond of the religious stuff. Also, that Archbishop seems to be somewhat of a controversial figure, so there's potential for a term paper :)

Looks like we both have to attend some kinda counseling session with him sometime and ask IF we maybe could hand it in sometime later, hm? - He said last time that as long as he could read, we could hand something in to him... Well, he said to the course... Wonder if he means it... ;)

I don't think I have to attend any counseling session with him. He said until the beginning of classes, which is still a MONTH away. I have written much more complicated term papers then the one on "Antonomasien für das Mädchen in Hartmann von Aues Armem Heinrich" in one week. I still have the literature list I made last year (I hope you have it, too? If you need it, I can e-mail it), so this Friday, I'll go and copy all the articles I need, then I have still three weeks to write which is more than enough.

Besides, at the beginning of the class in SS2006, I asked him if it was okay to hand in a paper from SS2005 - to which he said yes o_O But I am resolved to do it now, since I'll have to work on Greiner's 20pages paper during semester - he wants it three weeks after classes end.

Yeah, you're right. About the month we do still have.

As far as Freytag is concerned, he's just SO uncomplicated when it comes to these things. I love that. :)

I think I still have the literature list, thx for asking. :)

He's made of awesome, and one of the last of a dying kind. Sadly.

Er, I know, I've taken his 1A as well, and we did read Heinrich, so I know that it is a religious work.

Uh, but isn't there always potential for a term paper in courses? *g*
He was a controversial figure from what I can see, though. And pretty power-hungry. But then, he was a cleric in Medieval Germany, it's only to be expected, I guess.

Still, I think I'll opt for de-clustering my time table and have a look at the Minne, which might be potentially soppy, but their concept of wooing could be contrasted with later concepts, etc., so that might be interesting, even though... well. Lurve.

Er, their concept of love, that was supposed to be. Not wooing. :)

Yeah, well, a term paper that interests ME, of course. I do like Minne, but...I need Shakespeare.
