Mirth and good cheer...
Monday, December 25th, 2006 12:40 amWhen the Yule tide comes in like a bride
And holly and ivy clad
Twelve days in the year must mirth and good cheer
In every household is had
The popular guise is then to devise
All manner of holiday play
Both women and men do best that they can
To drive the cold winter away...
MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYBODY!!!
...
Will now go back to wiping my hard drive and re-installing Windows, because repairing did not work.
Will the procede to re-write the nine pages of my essay which I had saved to my desktop, brilliant as I am.
Ho, ho, ho.
And holly and ivy clad
Twelve days in the year must mirth and good cheer
In every household is had
The popular guise is then to devise
All manner of holiday play
Both women and men do best that they can
To drive the cold winter away...
MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYBODY!!!

Date: Monday, December 25th, 2006 09:00 am (UTC)Merry christmas, hun. :)
About the computer: welcome to the club. Had to do all the wiping, throwing away and re-installing stuff back in October. PCs suck. And yet, as a student, you can't live without them anymore. How much I hate computers and all kinds of technical devices sometimes. They work perfectly. Just not when you need them most. :(

Date: Monday, December 25th, 2006 05:14 pm (UTC)Still, I was lucky - as it turned out, it was possible to install XP on another partition, thus enabling me to save my essay and essay plan. Pheeew.
Now I'm "just" busy wiping C and reinstalling XP for the umpteenth time, and trying to work while working on the PC as such.
Merry Christmas to you, too!
