1. Post a list of fandoms.
2. Have your friends guess your favorite character from each fandom.

3. When guessed, add to the list your favourite characters and a sentence explaining why you like them.

  1. The Discworld series -[info]firenightingale was right, it's Lord Vetinari. He is awesomeness incarnate, there is no way you can not like him. He always knows everything, he's a dark evil overlord who found a way to not be killed by the hero, he's an ex-assassin, his friendship with Sam Vimes is very interesting, he's tall, dark and handsome. Sigh. ♥

  2. Harry Potter (Books) - [info]deadsoulmate's right: Severus Snape. Do I really have to give a reason? He's Snape. Apart from the infatuation with Severus Snape it is, of course, as [profile] firenightingale said, McGonagall. She's a great teacher, she's a Scot, she's hard on the outside and soft on the inside, she's a minion - I love her.

  3. Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Spike - and Willow, as [info]luckyoldsun said. I love both, but I've always been a Spike fan when I first watched the serious because he's an interesting character and because James Marsters is hot. My infatuation with Willow is more recent, really. She's my favourite among the Scoobies and her development is the most interesting in my eyes.

  4. The Worst Witch (TV series and books) - again, [info]firenightingale is right: Ms Hardbroom. I don't know how many of youse even knows the series, for those who don't - she's a mix of Snape and McGonagall.
She is an awesome teacher, she makes her students write the most hilarious lines, she always appears out of nowhere behind her students, she looks great in a bonnet - sigh. She is awesomeness incarnate.

  5. Star Trek -[profile] crocky_wock  said it, it's Bartimaeus, although I also love Nathaniel. Both of them together are great.

  6. Artemis Fowl - [profile] crocky_wock 's right again, Butler and Holly and Artemis, and I really can't decide and it changes every day. I guess it'll have to be Butler, though.

  7. The Lord of the Rings -[profile] crocky_wock 's as right as always: it's Aragorn. I don't know why, really, but somewhere between reading the book and seeing the film I fell for him. It might be Viggo Mortensen's eyes, but I like to think it's because of the character's struggle.

  8. Nick Hornby's works - again, [profile] crocky_wock 's all-knowing. High Fidelity is one of my favourite books, and I love Rob, Dick and Barry, especially Dick.
