Well, happy belated birthday, I should say. Sorry I didn't make it earlier! We just came back to Hamburg from painting our flat. I hope you had a really lovely, stress-free day!

Aw, thank you so, so much, hun... And absolutely no problem about being a bit late. ;)

*hugs*

Actually I did have a day that was absolutely lovely indeed. :)

I must say that it was the most beautiful birthday in a long time. Without stress, without any bad thoughts or things happening, and - most importantly - without dad. :)

More about everything tomorrow, cause I'm absolutely dead right now, since I just returned myself. :)

Great to hear!

And you only returned now? Sounds good! What did you do?

It was absolutely gorgeous... Simply everything worked out yesterday. Everything. It was like whatever I touched, it was gonna work out, no matter what. :)

After a lovely breakfast with my mum, I saw an old acqaintance from school, I'm still in contact with, and we spent the day in Hamburg. First I bought myself this CD I'd been lusting after for quite some time now ("Spectators" by Wolfsheim). You have to listen to the song "Künstliche Welten" sometime... It literally made me cry the first time I heard it... So beautiful...

Then, we went to see the new HP movie (I hadn't come around to watching it before)...

After that we paid a visit to the "Panoptikum". I always wanted to, but had never actually been there before, and I was dying to see it, so we went... Every train we used, we either didn't have to wait longer than 2 mins tops, or it would arrive exactly the moment we came down the stairs. Inside the "Panoptikum", pure luck yet again. I was able to take photos, as they were allowed to my surprise, and it was like every single one turned out ok.

I took over 200 pics during the whole day, as I saw later, and I only had to delete about 10, I think. Oh, and very interesting collection they have there. There's even a sculpture of Dan Radcliffe, including Hedwig and owl cage, modeled after how he looked like in the first film.

Btw.: yes, Mothy, the pic's on its way to you, if you like. ;)

What then? - Hallerstraße. "Vapirino" or how that establishment is called there, this vast Italian food parlor near the subway station. Very nice pizza. :)

Then a walk in the Alster area, "Europa Passage" by night and the "Roxie" to wrap up the day. Just great. Just. Great. :)

The only thing that could've topped this already more than beautiful day would've been spending it together with you and Crocky. If she'd liked. You were missing. Truly. :(
But I didn't dare ask with all the stress you have right now, moving and all...

Anyway, off to a 3 day trip to Wilhelmshaven tomorrow, to visit some relatives. Mum's lovely cousin where we were last year, remember? - Photos yet again. Whee... And childhood memories. Happy ones. Long walks and therein lots of time to think. :)

More when I get back. *hugs*

Oooh, have a great time in Willhelmshaven!

I am really glad to hear that you had such a great day! Everything sounds really perfect, the best birthday imaginable. Great!
I've walked past the Panopticum a number of time, but never went, it sounds as though it's fun. I'm looking forward to getting to look at that picture of yours. :)
