Sometimes, my family scares me. In a good way.

All of my family are photo obsessed, so this probably should not have surprised me, but it's still odd to look at pictures my wee little eighteen-year-old brother
niaseath made and be amazed how gorgeous some of them are.
Here are some of his holiday snap shots.

This is one of my favourite pictures.

Look!!! It's a moth!!

This is my favourite picture from this series, and Crocky absolutely loves it.

This is his school, my former school, at 3am - these holidays he's been doing a lot of night scenes, partly due to his odd sleep cycle, partly because it's fun to cycle around in the middle of the night.
I am insanely proud of him. His pictures make me want to take a leaf from his book and explore Hannover at night with tripod and my own SLR camera.

Date: Monday, November 3rd, 2008 04:53 pm (UTC)I also tried out taking pics after nightfall just last month. We had sortuva lightshow downtown here called 'Hanseleuchten' where they illuminated important buildings having to do with the history of the hanseatic league in various colors. It was an awesome experience. But with my camera I had to use a tripod, too, to get decent results. Not a chance in hell without one.
