Hallowe'en

Crocky and I are invited to a Halloween party. I'm not very creative when it comes to costumes (I was briefly toying with the idea of going as a bottle - putting on a cork-imitating paper hat and otherwise dressing in green), but I'd rather go as some kind of witch, because I have a hat for that.

Given my curviness I'm considering going as Nanny Ogg, which would be pretty bad-ass. Now the only thing I need are a stein, grey hair dye, possibly a pipe if I can get hold of a cheap one, and I'm good to go.

Also, I bought this: 


...with which I plan to bake Magrat's bat cookies. Not entirely IC for Nanny Ogg, I realise, but I'm not about to buy these.

Going as Nanny Ogg sounds fun! You could spray your hair grey if you want to, there is specially died hairspray for such occasions. I actually have a pipe, but it's my late grandpa's beekeeper's pipe ^^ But I'm sure there'll be cheap ones in the dress-up sections in the warehouses.

BTW, I want to see photos of that!

The spray paint is what I thought about, and good thinking about the pipes - I searched eBay for a cheap second-hand one, but a plastic toy one will probably do for one night. ^^

I guess I did costumes one time too many for theatre; my mind starts leafing through the possibilities the second I read something like this. Another possibilities would be fleamarkets or fleamarket shops, they usually have a box of pipes flying around.
