Hallowe'en
Saturday, October 24th, 2009 06:15 pmCrocky and I are invited to a Halloween party. I'm not very creative when it comes to costumes (I was briefly toying with the idea of going as a bottle - putting on a cork-imitating paper hat and otherwise dressing in green), but I'd rather go as some kind of witch, because I have a hat for that.
Given my curviness I'm considering going as Nanny Ogg, which would be pretty bad-ass. Now the only thing I need are a stein, grey hair dye, possibly a pipe if I can get hold of a cheap one, and I'm good to go.
Also, I bought this:

...with which I plan to bake Magrat's bat cookies. Not entirely IC for Nanny Ogg, I realise, but I'm not about to buy these.

Date: Saturday, October 24th, 2009 05:19 pm (UTC)Going as Nanny Ogg sounds fun! You could spray your hair grey if you want to, there is specially died hairspray for such occasions. I actually have a pipe, but it's my late grandpa's beekeeper's pipe ^^ But I'm sure there'll be cheap ones in the dress-up sections in the warehouses.
BTW, I want to see photos of that!
