Date: Thursday, October 7th, 2010 11:24 am (UTC)I saw your name in yesterday's Minerva post, as prompt-giver, which reminded me that I wanted to check your journal to see whether I had missed any other of those fabulous silhouettes.
Which I had.
This is another superb one. The old-fashioned guirlandes (sorry if that's the wrong word; I'm not too strong on art-vocabulary) surrounding it. Minerva's mother, who even in silhouette looks a bit like your grown Minerva, yet is different. And little Minerva, who is just so. The glasses, the nose, the pony tail, the gryffindor scarf (for somehow I see the colours). And the owl.
She way she looks rather insecure: it must be that terrifying moment when she realises that going to Hogwarts (which is great) actually does mean leaving home.
And, erm, would you mind if I friended you? I'd hate to miss any more of your art, and we seem to have a discworld love as well as a hp love in common. (Oh, and we've met before on FF net, when you were kind enough to review one of my stories.)
