Ooh, I've fallen in love with this series, and Maggie is a delight in it - her character is superb. I think I need to change my answer in woldy's meme, this is needs to be this year's discovery. It's about a grand Edwardian estate, its family and servants in the early the years before WWI. The characters are delightful, as are the actors and actresses.

You ought to give it a go, if not for Maggie or the characters, then for the accents, clandestine gay characters (though I doubt he'll get much action after the first episode, poor dear) and good Lord, for the clothes:

O, I'm quite addicted to this series, too. If my country decides to de-fund PBS, I'll be distraught but I think the series is on dvd or streaming, too.

Totally love it as well. I got myself the first season DVDs sometime this year, and had even my partner happily watching away with me. And I got season 2 for Christmas! ♥ I'm actually going to watch the first episode tonight while babysitting my nieces.

Yay indeed! :D I'm obsessed, just finished the first season yesterday and I'm going to have to restrain myself so I don't finish the second off in one sitting.
