Day 4 - Aberystwyth, Dyfi Furnace

Bala Lake. Bala has a very nice Coop where we got our lunch.








Ever-present slate near the Corris mine.


Suddenly, we found the sea emerging on the wrong side. Turns out we took a wrong turn and had gone fifteen miles up the river on the wrong shore. The view made up for it, though.

You make me want to pack my things and hit the road right away. This reminds me also of the long trip trough Devon, Avon, Somerset and Cornwall I did with my BFF just after the Abi. The "landscape feeling" was very similar in a certain way I can't describe.

Oh, lucky you, that sounds like a really fun trip.

For that reason Cornwall is still on my to-see-list! Pictures I've seen so far reminded me very much of Wales, and I'd love to tour that part some day.
