I finished my crocheting project: I made it a neck warmer rather than a scarf, though. I'm thinking about making some fingerless gloves or gauntlets in the same pattern now that I'm done with this pattern. I actually bought the yarn to knit a scarf, but it looks as though knitting will have to wait a bit longer.

This is it. Front:

And since my selfies modelling this scarf turned out very blurry, here is our bean bag doggy in it:

That's really neat! It looks adorable on the doggie, too. :D

Aww, thanks! She's very photogenic and looks good in anything. :D I'm thrilled how it turned out, too! This is only the fifth or so thing I ever crocheted and first larger thing I've ever crocheted, and I couldn't be more pleased. :)

I like it very much, and, yes, it does the trick perfectly being as long as it is now ;-). To do something now that will warm the wrists as well makes a lot of sense.

You also don't have to see the not-very-pretty underside, which would have been inconvenient about the scarf.

The wrists/arms are definitely next. I'm also thinking about looking for some more scaly and metallic-looking yarns. If I am going to have arms that looks as though I have scales I want it to be dragon scales.

Terrific! I hope your doggie will give it back to you again. *g*

Haha, well, the colours are not really her, and I'm sure such a style conscious dog will be aware of that. *g*

And now for the wrists. I'm torn between just trying it out and actually going in for one of the (not very expensive) patterns on etsy. Hm. Decisions, decisions...

Oh, it looks absolutely fantastic! :D I must say that bean bag doggy is rather stylish wearing it. I'm sure fingerless gloves would look brilliant!

Thanks! Bean doggy had to give up the neck warmer, which now generally adorns Crocky's neck. :D I started on the fingerless gloves and so far I'm convinced. :)

Glad Crocky's neck gets to stay nice and warm! I'm sure Bean doggy is happy enough inside. :D
