I am proud of myself...
Sunday, October 2nd, 2005 04:51 pmBecause I have cleaned the windows in our flat.
Now, I know that does not sound mortifyingly interesting, but hey, I am scared of heights, and here I am, living in a flat on the second floor, standing on the sill of our 2m tall windows and leaning out to clean them, defying gravity and my fear of the faraway ground!
Wow, that I even bother to write this down or upload it so other people can actually see it shows how empty my sad little life is.
Other people are probably out for a little bungee jump or doing sky diving or something equally interesting, but I have nothing to contribute to the world of human achievements but defying my pet phobia.
Speaking of pets... I miss my cat.
There is a cat whining and mewing in the little courtyard behind the house we live in, all the time, all night, sounding like an abandoned child and reminding me horribly of my cat at home, sitting in front of my door, unable to get in. I miss him so much I could cry. I wish I could have taken him with me.
I really hope for the bank people that we will finally receive our data and cards tomorrow, because I want internet! The connection at the library is really slow.

Will Internet! Sigh.
