Snails

They are everywhere!!

I have never seen so many of them at once, it's amazing. And they are so pretty! We've spent twenty minutes ogling at the snails yesterday. What are they called, anyway? My dictionary says "edible snails". Ewww. I refuse to believe that, although I've seen them at Morrison's. Hm. "Large Garden Snails"?





















I had almost forgotten how pretty they are.

Well, may I admit that I did keep some as pets back when I was little!? :D

Only for some days of course, in order not to harm and just to observe them... I so loved them. :)

Well, my parent's attitude really quenched my desire to keep them. When I brought home some garden snails for the first time it did not take five minutes until my mother had bustled up with a highly illuminating tome with highly illuminating charts and pictures and lots of highly illuminating cross sections of snails.
