Meme break!
A. Age: 27.
B. Bed size: right now? 140x200. Crocky's and mine? 180x200.
C. Chore you hate: many - picking up my rooms. Cleaning the cat's litter box. Dusting. Deep-cleaning. Taking clothes off of clotheslines, pairing up socks with their long-lost sibling, really simple sewing tasks like sewing on a lost button.
D. Dogs: yes. I grew up with dogs. My grandfather's hunting dog was practically one of my primary care-givers when I was under the age of five, and after that, he was my best friend, my playmate, my protector. When my mother took me shopping when I was a baby she could have left my stroller standing outside the shop with me in it as long as our dog was there because he'd snarl at anyone who got too close to me (unfortunately, he also didn't like my father getting too close, because my father didn't live with us at the time).
E. Essential start to your day: at least five minutes of snoozing while I dozily run through the things I need to do that day and then coffee. Lots.
F. Favorite color: I don't really have a favourite colour. I usually wear dark colours - mostly black, green, dark purple. I think it's black.
G. Gold or silver: silver!
H. Height: 1,65 (5'5").
I. Instruments you play: I can't even play air-guitar convincingly, really. I can plonk my way through very easy tunes on the piano, I can get some very wobbly notes out of a trumpet that don't sound too much like a blocked nostril, but I don't really play an instrument. My mother tried to have me learn the recorder when I was seven, but I stopped practising, stopped going and never looked back.
J. Job title: Referendarin - trainee teacher.
K. Kids: none, as yet. In future? Yes, though Crocky and I differ on how many. I don't really want more than two (sorry, potential offspring #3!), she'd love to go up to as many as four. So. Three? Two and then see? I'm not sure. All I know is that right now, I'm not ready for a child yet and I won't be for a while, until I completed my teaching degree and am employed.
L. Live: yes? Oh. In Germany.
M. Mother’s name: Astrid.
N. Nicknames: Andi, Moth, Dea.
O. Overnight hospital stays: none.
P. Pet peeve: People who occupy the same enclosed space I do who are noisy - listen to loud music, talk on the phone VERY LOUDLY AS THOUGH THEY WEREN'T USING A PHONE, whistle, tap the floor, chew gum, kiss with loud slurping noises. You're not alone, BE QUIET.
Q. Quote from a movie: "Be excellent to each other. "
R. Right- or left-handed: Right. I'm disappointed, because my mother's mixed-handed and I'd have really loved to inherit that.
S. Siblings: One brother,
niaseath , seven years younger than me, bio-chemistry student (they grow up so fast), photographer, heavy metal fan, Draenei healer, and taller than me, confusingly. In my head he's a twelve-year-old Pokémon fan who loves the colour yellow.
T. Time you wake up: that depends on when I got to bed the night before. Usually at around 7 am, though.
U. Underwear: boring and sensible with occasional bouts of cute- or playfulness.
V. Vegetables you dislike: I can't eat onions, I'm never sure what to do with eggplants, and I get mysteriously queasy after eating warm tomatoes or red peppers.
W. What makes you run late? A lack of organisation and lack of motivation to move outside.
X. X-Rays you’ve had: teeth (cavities, tooth growing the wrong direction), chest (nothing wrong with my lungs), and knees (nothing wrong with those, either, but whenever stress gets the better of me they hurt when it's raining or otherwise wet outside, so something is wrong with them).
Y. Yummy food you make: simple things - chocolate cookies, muffins, cupcakes, cakes. Also, stuffed mushrooms.
Z. Zoo- favorite animal: any big cats, manta rays, butterflies, and giant tortoises.

Date: Sunday, March 6th, 2011 11:43 am (UTC)I would love to have one. Of course, the cats wouldn't be happy *lol*. One of the dreams I always had is connecting to some wild animal individuals so well that they will come from time to time for a chat and a snack, but remain free... at least we're living rural enough to see small birds of prey on nearly every trip to the central city, and often enough crows feeding on the fields besides the street.
