I think the prettiest font that I have ever seen in my life is the font used in the "Red" Carroux-translated 1990ies Klett-Cotta edition of Lord of the Rings (ISBN 360895855X) and I found people discussing which font it is.

They think it's ITC Weidemann LT Book Regular, and this looks about right.

Back to trying to work.

I thought so at first, due to a misunderstanding on my part, and may even have said so somewhere. But it's in the legal notice at the end of my Carroux edition. If she has also worked at the Krege edition, it must be a newer edition than ours, because I didn't find anything in it.

Okay. Well, I know she worked on the Krege one (and yes, it's a new version), but I didn't know about the Carroux one :)

Ah, then perhaps I didn't get it wrong at first, just didn't know the whole of it. :o) I'll go and have a look in the next Krege I'll see in a bookstore.
